Transparency – oh how I value it!
In a world that is increasingly complex, understanding fees shouldn’t be.
So let me just shoot you straight with the costs. My professional fee for prenatal, labor, and postpartum care is $10,000.
This looks like:
- Unlimited Prenatal Visits
- An Early Gender Test
- Complimentary In-Office Ultrasounds (but only if you want them)
- Standard Labs
- A Birth Pool
- An Extremely Supportive Birth Team
- Filing of the Birth Certificate
- Routine Postpartum Visits & Lactation Support
- “Keep in Touch” Extended Care (if you need me, call me)
Additionally, I refer to two outside services, at your cost. They include a standard 20-week anatomy scan at a local imaging center and an optional genetic screening test. Both of these services accept insurance.
My pricing is straightforward. This means there are no added charges for things like records review, suturing, travel fees, missed appointments, prolonged labor, after-hours needs, prescribing services, newborn screening or assistant fees. A limited number of scholarships are available anually on a case-by-case basis.
As an added bonus…most visits take place on our beautiful 12-acre property with a pond, pool, horses, kittens, ducks, and more for you to enjoy. I like to make prenatal visits feel more like gathering with friends. I want our time together to be something the whole family looks forward to.
Lastly, you deserve to know, a contract doesn’t guide my refunds—my character does. For example, if you are in labor with a full-term healthy baby and for whatever reason don’t end up birthing at home, I will refund 50% of the fee. I believe in sharing some of the financial risks with my clients and am willing to put some skin in the game, too. I hope that speaks volumes about both my integrity and my confidence in my ability to deliver (no pun intended)!
