We had the best experience with Christina! She was my midwife from the beginning of my pregnancy, then my third trimester hit and we were faced with different challenges -preeclampsia, breeched baby. She walked me through every step and let me know my options. I ended up with a C-section in a hospital, the exact opposite of what we intended for, but I had the most amazing experience even with that! She is knowledgeable, caring, and still responds quickly to any questions I have about my 5 month old. She is someone you will have by your side far past the delivery date. So thankful for Christina and her awesome team.

She was a very great listener at every appointment; offering insight, answering questions but ultimately following my intuition. If our family weren’t complete, I’d be so excited to have her by my side for another next pregnancy!
Garrett Turner2024-11-05In the beginning, I was very skeptical. Not knowing a thing about midwives. After just one meeting with Christina, I was convinced. Both her and her midwife in training Janikka, were informative and professional for the entirety of my wifes pregnancy. If you are having a baby and wanting a homebirth, I absolutely reccomend Christina. I can't reccomend her enough honestly. She helped bring my baby into this world and made sure my wife was safe while doing it. Not only is she a medical professional but a stellar human being that I've had the pleasure of knowing. I put their lives in her hands, and she did NOT disappoint.
Noah Sanders2024-10-25An amazing experience!!! From the viewpoint of a first-time dad: Christina is an awe inspiring person. She loves her patients and she adores her job. Truly a birthing savant. We had several obstacles to overcome during the duration of my wife’s pregnancy, but Christina had a continuously joyful attitude when it came to every issue. We never once felt like we were an inconvenience to her. We always felt like family. We had every single question answered every single time. Unfortunately, the night before our beautiful son was born into this world, we decided to go to the hospital for delivery. My wife had a few complications that arose towards the end of her pregnancy and they all came together to help us make this decision. Christina sat up with us the night before, and eased our fears, our worries, and our doubts. She came to the hospital with us and walked with us through every process. She was our advocate, when we felt as if we didn’t have a voice. We now have a thriving baby boy who is perfect in every way. Christina has stayed in communication with us constantly. She is still answering every question and concern. Despite not using her services for the delivery, she still cares deeply about us and our family. I encourage you to just meet with her if you are on the fence about home birth. I promise, one conversation will convince you that Christina is the BEST option.
Jenny C2024-09-16Review Well, I’m writing this review right now with tears in my eyes because…Christina broke up with me. OK, maybe I’m stretching the story and perhaps I’m one month postpartum and Christina’s midwifery services have come to an end and it’s been just an amazing pregnancy and birth experience and I’m sad that it’s over😩lol. Christina has been warm, welcoming, understanding, informational from day one. Seriously! When I reached out to inquire initially, Christina responded promptly and has always been available. From my husband and I experiencing and navigating an early miscarriage with her, to recently having the best home water birth experience surrounded by family, Christina’s care and support goes above and beyond. Even during my pregnancy appointments, Christina listened, shared relative info, discussed options, checked on my health and the baby’s health and just talked to me. Her appointments felt more like conversations and I have never felt like ‘just another mom/number’ with her midwifery service. So please insert all of the amazing qualities of a great midwife here ____. And I’ll also add, coming from a mom who was looking to experience another natural birth, I’m so glad I found d Christina. If you’re shopping around for a midwife who’s beyond qualified, loves babies, and has a heart for expectant mothers, check her out now. And then also buy yourself some Kleenex in advance to prepare for when Christina says it’s your last official postpartum check in. Lol. She’s really is the best (and of course her assistant Janikka too. Best team ever). Thank you Christina! For everything!
Linzy Goetz2024-09-13Christina is an incredible midwife! I met with her when searching for a midwife for my second born in 2019. My first son was born in the hospital and I knew I wanted a different experience. The prenatal visits were gentle and educational. She took time with me during each visit and when I was dealing with extreme morning sickness she provided options that allowed for relief until I got through that phase . When things did not go as planned ( as birth sometimes does) she continued to support and advocate for me! I also worked with her with my third birth! She is a rockstar! Truly, she was there with me the whole time and I was able to experience the most incredible home birth. Christina knows what she’s doing and has a true passion and love for supporting women and bringing babies earth-side in a safe and loving way .
D. Miller2024-08-20I was not a birthing mother, but the Momma of two daughters who both chose to use Christina's services, within 2 months of each other. (So I got to be around Christina quite a bit!) I am blown away by how knowledgeable she is, on a huge variety of subjects. And, when something cropped up that she was unsure about with my oldest daughter's pregnancy, she dove in and researched it, reaching out to those who could help and in doing so, made it possible for her to have the home birth she wanted. I had every confidence in her skills and felt so secure in my girls' care under her watch. She went above and beyond for their needs, always laid out the facts to help them be able to make their own decisions with the info. As the Momma of the birthing mommas, and a doula myself, Christina even allowed me to be as much help as my girls wanted me to be - with no feeling of toes being stepped on or any feeling of me being an intrusion. The atmosphere was one of confidence, "you got this", and "I'm right here, we can do this" from Christina, as well as her assistant Janika (spelling?). Both were phenomenal throughout. Christina even honored our family in both births, both boys, in doing their delayed circumcisions per our religious custom. So special. I can't say enough about the respect I have for Christina and her sweet gang there at Rockwall Birth. A+++, in my opinion. Top notch.
Laci Martin2024-08-15Christina is more than just a midwife and after meeting with her for a few minutes you will quickly understand what I mean. She instantly makes you feel like family and that doesn’t change in nine months after she catches your baby. (My last baby was born in 2019 & she’s still the only one I trust with my families health) She is patient and kind and makes you feel like your pregnancy and birth is the most important one in the world. No question is too dumb, no request is too demanding and you never feel like you are rushed like you do in an OBGYN office. 10/10 recommend.
Kristina Smith2024-08-155 stars all the way! I have gotten to experience Christina in a different way. I met her because she delivered my bestie’s babies, but for me she has been a resource for me in all the womanly ways. For example, without fail Christina can expect a message asking for assistance with womanly matters every summer when the heat spikes. It’s such an annoying thing that happens to me, but she is always there to help me out and I cannot express how thankful I am that she is! Just this morning I’ll be driving to my pharmacist to pick up my meds that’ll clear things up! She’s really wonderful. She deliveries babies, YES! But she also does other incredibly helpful things as well! 5 stars all day!
Khianna Calica2024-05-15WOW! I am blown away by Christina's practice and demeanor. Her professional acumen paired with her impeccable bedside manner should be the standard for healthcare and wellness practices. I didn't have the privilege of experiencing her midwifery services- as I did not know about her practice...BUT she did do my son's circumcision. The level of empathy that she brings to what can be a jarring experience for new parents and baby is beautiful.
